Data Requests

The LSU Office of Undergraduate Research (LSU  OUR) collects data on students who participate in our programs and activities. LSU faculty and staff can complete a data request and the corresponding information will be shared securely via Box.

Please note:

  • We do our best to keep accurate records on students who participate in our activities. This data is collected from the student at the point of application, so things like major and graduation date are subject to change. We are only able to share what we have on record.
  • We do not provide institutional-wide data on undergraduate research students. You may only request data for students who have directly participated in events and programs through our office. Please see below for options.

Data can be provided regarding undergradaute student participation in the following LSU Office of Undergraduate Research activities:

LSU Discover Day presenters
Summer Undergraduate Research Forum presenters (2023-present)
Distinguished Undergraduate Researcher Candidates - students who are actively pursuing the distinction
Distinguished Undergraduate Researcher Awardees - students who have graduated and received the distinction
President's Future Leaders in Research (PFLR) Awardees (2022-present)
Project Grant recipients - Includes Special Collections Summer Program and Museum of Art Summer Program
Gulf Scholars Program participants
Travel Stipend recipients
Freshmen Explorers Program participants (only those who have been matched with a research mentor)

We require a minimum of 2 weeks lead time to complete your request. You must be a current LSU faculty, staff, or administrator to submit a data request.
